Church Planting Residency
About this Program…
The Hamilton Fellowships Residency Program aims to come alongside individuals interested in more specifically and intentionally exploring a call to be a part of a future church planting team.
The Residency Program will provide extra attention, exploration and equipping to develop the character and competencies needed for a church planter or team member. As part of our residency, we partner with the North American Mission Board to offer their Leadership Pipeline, which bridges discipleship and leadership development.
Program participants will work closely with the our lead pastor/catalyst and team developers, with opportunities to work with city team leaders and pastors.
The Hamilton Fellowships Residency Program consists of three stages:
Intern: Focusing on self-leadership and self-discovery with specific attention to how they line up to specific roles within a church planting context.
Apprentice: Focusing on the character and competencies needed for leading others and leading leaders through the practical experience of leading a team. Specific attention will be paid to multiplication.
Residency: Focusing on the character and competencies needed for leading an organization with specific attention to casting vision and values and gathering a potential team for a new church plant.
